Dear diary,
I succeeded in overcoming my lazy bored self yesterday and i was able to spend a significant amount of time reading(school book oh, as exams are fast approaching). Yay!!! 🙌🙌
Today, however turned out to be quite hectic😥 Was super surprising as i imagined it would be a usual boring Thursday as d rest in the past weeks. Today, i hustled. And that definitely kept me busy.
I heard from classmates about a scholarship for final year students and as you would guess, money 💰 got your girl hustling oh. I went long lengths. Climbed staircases to have a document signed by my project supervisor and my head of department. As if that one wasn't enough, i had to do an aptitude test as part of the application process. That was the longest and fastest 20 minutes of my life in a long while. I had to answer 20 questions in 20 minutes. Did i mention that it was difficult? I did my best though.
Now am already bored of talking about that.
Oh, dat reminds me. I got teased by my little brother on how long its taking me to finish a small book. He managed to finish it in a day and i have been at it for weeks😕
The teasing got me gingered and i made us my mind to finish it regardless of whether or not i got bored of it or not.
And guess what? I finished it not long ago.
I feel so proud of myself even though its a small book.
I forgot to tell you the name. Where are my manners??
Its "MAKE TODAY COUNT" by John C. Maxwell.
It got me thinking of how my days go. And so i will be making conscious efforts everyday that will change my usually boring day to an interesting one.
Dont worry, I'll share all the juicy details with you of course😉
I have no idea what i will try out tomorrow but whatever it is, I'll fill you in on how it goes.
Wish me luck😎
😂
ReplyDeleteThat sounded like a very event full day. Try to not focus on the "I get bored easily" thing and u will have a fun "non boring " day
